Terry Richardson's father is hazily recalled 60's fashion photographer Bob Richardson (it's handy finding a large stack of 1995 New Yorkers) and tonight the ambitious over-achievers and religious zealots at PopMontreal are presenting a cathartic and messianic exploration of noisy stuff. Ya know, like sounds, but not all "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH," in the words of spokeswoman Anna Phelan, but more like "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmhmhmhmh." Okay.
